25 years of technology consulting. Thousands of whiteboards. Two daughters who still aren’t convinced I have a real job.

According to my two daughters, I get paid to “talk and draw boxes.”

They aren’t wrong. After two and a half decades in the industry, I’ve realised that solving most complex problems require connecting the right boxes.

I’ve spent my career helping organisations move from a “Why” to “What” and “How”. Here is what generally I do day to day:

  • Bridging the Gap: I translate “Executive Vision” into “Technical Reality”.

  • Simplifying the Complex: I spend a lot of time explaining strategy in plain English. If I can’t bring people along for the ride, I can’t build or deliver the solution.

  • Building Connections: Not just between systems, but between people. Technology is the easy part; human alignment is where the real work happens.

I intend to share these stories here at Connected Boxes.

At the end of the day, I’m just a dad trying to make technology approachable for humans and having a bit of fun along the way.
